Adventuring Again

Hey everybody! I'm Katie, and my husband Mike and I just embarked on a huge new chapter of our lives: he finished his ER residency this month, and before we move to California from Michigan for his new job, we're taking a ~7ish week adventure across the US (Eurotrip got cancelled) in our new camper, a Little Guy Max (who identifies as female and is named "Tie," short for "Take it Easy.") Just about to hit the road! While most of you reading this are probably friends and family, this is a public blog (just like the good ol' days from my years in France, Senegal, and Saudi Arabia), so it'll be written in a way to reflect this. I'll be writing it, but Mike will be contributing his thoughts as well.  I've missed blogging, but for a lot of reasons, I haven't done a whole lot of writing the past 6 years.
